NOTE: TOKENS CAN BE TURNED IN FOR PRIZES ANYTIME BEFORE 3 PM SUNDAY; AT THAT TIME THEY WILL BE CONSIDERED UNCLAIMED & PUT INTO THE TICKET DRAWING. ALL UNFOUND TOKEN PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED BY TICKET DRAWINGS.
We have purposely not buried actual artifacts in order to not historically alter the landscape. All artifacts will be awarded by tokens. With the exception of a few surface finds scattered about, all buried items are coins, mostly old silver, along with numbered tokens. If you do dig unseeded items, they are natural to the area and you may keep them.
This hunt will take place over a 200 acre property. Any seeded coins, tokens, or other “planted” items will be within the field boundaries marked with red flags. There are also at least two old house sites on the property, and natural finds are likely.
- Please respect the property owner; don’t litter and do cover your holes.
- Please do not detect beyond property boundaries.
- Tokens may be turned in at any time before 3 PM Sunday.. Tokens not redeemed by 3 PM on
- Sunday will be null and void.
- Kids under 12 may hunt free only if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Hunt held rain or shine, no refunds. You may, however, sell or transfer your ticket to another person.
- If you have any problems or gripes concerning the hunts, please immediately see the hunt master or organizers. We want everyone to have a fun hunt and good experience.
- AGAIN, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TOKENS TURNED IN BY 3PM SUNDAY!
